It's Hot, Dry, and Winter in California

Yes its all that and among other things Thursday is my longest and most boring day.

I would like to, though, comment on the Mohammed Cartoon Saga. To clear up a few things 1) It is not "illegal" to have pictures of the Prophet 2) It is considered disrespectful to draw the Prophet in a fowl manner. For example imagine Jesus Christ handing a bomb to a Muslim saying "Here God wants you to have this," and now imagine that in the New York Times.

Furthermore, I whole heartdly support the protests, Hezbollah conducted the most civilized protest in Lebanon that I just witnessed via TV a few minutes ago. No burning efiges or flags, no slander, just a bunch of Lebanese Muslims who associate themselves with Hezbollah asking for an apology from Denmark. Now if only Hezbollah did the whole peacful thing all the time maybe they would get somewhere. Sadly this peaceful march was a rare occurence.

Note: I am not a Muslim...nor do I support Hezbollah (especially note NSA who I bet is reading this).
