I Don't Even Know How to Title This

Read Background Here

If what the Washington Post is reporting is true, half true, or even 1% true the outlook for the future seems downright scary.

The sad part is, us. You, me, and every other person. For the next few months, more likely few years, something will come to aspire. This something may be World War III, and up until that time comes, we will be doing our little dance we call daily living. Completely oblivious to what the highest echelons of a few of the powerful governments around the world will be preparing for.

Reading the article one has to see a little more into it. No matter what anyone says SOMETHING will happen. That something could be any number of scenarios. However if I cared to list these scenarios that could lead to MASSIVE war, few would read far enough into the article I write to read even one of the scenarios. Some people have remarked that my blog is boring, and I agree. Reading any of the articles I write over again I find myself stopping mid-way, partly because I wrote them, and partly because they are long.

But since I am bored I will describe the scenarios for my own benefit, after all it is called a Journal. So, please DON'T READ ANY FURTHER, I am just going to write about death, destruction, and quite possibly the end of the world ;) Have a good day!

As the Washington Post outlines, if the U.S. were to take air strike only action against ANY Iranian installations whether military or not, the entire of Iran will be enraged. Once D.C. thinks that they have sufficiently bombed every quadrant of Iran's defenses back to the stone age, the Iranians will arm themselves.

Iran will march into Iraq (and maybe Afghanistan but not as likely) and the Iranians will wage a ground war in Iraq. No amount of "coalition" defensive positions along the Iraq-Iran border will prevent this from happening.

While the Washington Post states that the U.S. could bomb the shiznitz out of the Iranian defensive network the Post doesn't mention the likely underground army of enraged and drug enhanced Iranians that, like I said above, will march into Iraq.

Finally for this scenario China and Russia will be royally pissed, and I can't even come to terms with what they would do (it's not like they are going to sit back and let the U.S. attack a third country in China and Russia's backyard).

...Speaking of backyards, in the above case, because Iran would equal the third country invaded by the "white people" of America, the Muslim peoples would be royally pissed, as well. I mean after the Alexander the Great affair, then you had the Crusades, establishment of Israel, and not to mention American influence in establishing Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, the Shaw[l] of Iran, the Egyptian dictatorial regime - it's safe to say the Muslim people wouldn't stand for another full blown "white man" incursion into Arab lands. We can all guess as to where their anger would lead...

But what if the U.S. doesn't strike any Iranian facilities? Well Israel will. They will launch a campaign against primarily the Iranian nuclear facilities. However, there is a good chance that the Iranians will retaliate "in-force." This could be any number of things. All of which lead to the entire continent of Asia royally hating Israel, and if the U.S. opens it's mouth (which it will because we can't keep it shut) Asia will be mad at us too.

If you cannot see how this scenario would happen you have to keep in mind that if Israel were to attack another Muslim nation, in this day and age, every other Muslim nation, not-withstanding there allegiance to America, would be up in arms about it. Then there is the China and Russia thing where they think Iran is their baby, and you don't mess with anyone's baby. So China, Russia, and all the Muslim countries pretty much sums up the continent of Asia.

Then there is the possibility that nothing will happen. Iran will build it's nuclear facilities with or without the approval of the "world body", no missiles will be fired in any direction at anybody, and Russia & China will get their oil (or whatever they are after). This last idea seems hopeful, and being as I am I have learned anything worth hoping for is something that takes a miracle for it to happen - and miracles are far and few in between (not that I don't have hope, I have hope that reaches as far as Andromeda and back).

These are my scenarios, and while I could think of more I don't think any of them would lead to peace not with this President and not with this America. An America where we don't care what happens as long as we live for the next day, as long as Starbucks is still around the corner, as long we can earn money, buy a nice house, in a nice neighborhood, where we can raise our children, have them get straight A's, send them off to a University, along with any number of good things we want to happen, just so long as we the individuals of America are "happy." This is what a little more then 250 million American's strive for (me included). The day will come, history has told it will come. Wow, how sad.

this is the first time i actually agree with hostility towards the iranian nuclear programme. when the president of iran makes statements like he will wipe Israel off the face of the planet.. When governed by a fanatic and supporting fanatical extremist groups, in-house nuclear weapon power is deadly to all the neighbouring countries..

And Israel won't attack any country. It can't even handle Palestine. Do you really think they can go against a nation like Iran or any muslim country for that reason. They have no reason to attack unless provoked militarily. for example, if they were invaded or threatened to be exterminated..

It's not that Israel can't handle Palestine. I mean you give an Israel the nuclear launch codes and he blow the shit out of the place. The only reason it is so dificult is because of politics.

If Israel were to attack Iran's nuclear cache it would be on the same premise that they attacke the Osirus nuclear reactor in Iraw (i think it is spelled Osirus). While Iran's nuclear "stuffs" are a lot more guarded then Iraq's this would not stop Israel from trying.

well, this is the deal though. israel doesn't have nuclear weapons. so there are no nuclear codes in question.

plus about osiris, it was a joint iran-israeli premptive strike. i can bet money that israel won't attack iran unless iran attacks israel first.

Actually Israel does have nuclear weapons. They are just undeclared, read this wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction

Didn't know about the joint thing, but Iran was under, I believe, a more American regime back in the day (if you will remember we did create the whole Shaw of Iran thing back in the day). Don't know if it was during the Osiris incident but I would bet money that it was.

But yeah Israel will only attack, not if attacked first, but if nothing is done about Iran or tangible progress made in the next, at least, five years. That is my belief at least...

osiris strike didn't have much to do with the US. US actually condemned the initial attack in 1981 but later thanked the people involved in the attack in the late 80s as it protected a lot of American soldiers in the Gulf War.

I didn't know that Israel had nuclear weapons. I did know that they had a nuclear programme for energy.

Iran is setting itself up for world condemnation with it's xenocidic remarks.. The integrity of world structure should not be threatened by extremism..
