The True Meaning of Easter?

That's the question I see posted on many blog sites. Though I have to ask what is the true meaning of Christianity?

There is not a sole on this planet that can answer that question. What if I were to tell you that even the Pope doesn't know all there is to know about Christianity (or Catholicism, where the difference is only semantics). Now I am not making myself to be any expert in this field, but I am open to question...something many Christians are not. For example if I were to collect all the known Gospels I could completely re-write the entire bible, using the same number of Gospels in there now, but using entirely different Gospels written from different points of view. That's because there are actually dozens of Gospels, though back in the day only a few were chosen to be in what today is called the Bible.

What if I were to tell you that the devils number was not 666 but actually 616. I bet you wouldn't believe me and I am not going to take the effort to cite my sources but if you questioned, NOT your religion, but what you have been taught then you could find your own sources for this. There is a fundamental problem with christians not Christianity). The people don't fully understand the entire realm of possibilities with Christianity. This religion has been whittled down to some fundamental ideas that, in the beginning, never had anything to do with Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Sadly The Church has kept all that it wishes to keep about the religion so many seek to adore, hidden from the people. Hidden in the very way Jesus, I assume, never would of approved of. Today's Christianity, is the farthest thrown rock from what Jesus ever set out to create.
